From owning his own fabric cutting factories in Australia to combining his love for software into today’s MPanel, Alan is the front man of the business. He’s also one of the first to jump into customer support (along with Andrew and Tim) as soon as an email lands. Customer service, efficient software, and doing a job properly the first time are hallmarks of Alan’s approach to life.

Andrew began writing custom software for the aerodynamics, development, and patterning of paragliders, then translated this into the architectural tensile structures field. When things bend and twist, there is an art to accurate mathematical calculations, and Andrew has been on a quest to ensure companies all over the world can deploy some of humanity’s most inspiring designs with confidence.

CfO
Barbara is the financial steward of the company, ensuring development budgets are kept in check as the other two directors work to answer every possible question the shade industry could have — with a new feature or specific application.
